Zopo ZP999 review

Zopo to launch its latest flagship - the MT6595-powered Zopo ZP999 - in 32 countries in the worldZopo ZP999 is not official, yet. However, it has already leaked out in social media and blogs, so we decided it was about time to acquaint you with this device, which can put to shame many other smartphones by big brands. It is Zopo's latest flagship and succeeds the Zopo ZP998, inheriting a good portion of its features. These include the 5.5-inch IPS display and the set of cameras. The primary shooter has a 14-megapixel sensor and an f/2.0 aperture, while the front camera is equipped with a 5-megapixel sensor. Both are capable of recording 1080p videos at 30 fps.



The Zopo ZP999 will have a Pro and a Standard version. The Pro one has a 1080p resolution and is equipped with the latest MediaTek chipset - the octa-core MT6595 SoC. It integrates four Cortex-A17 cores clocked at 2.2GHz and four Cortex-A7 cores clocked at 1.7GHz. It also includes the powerful PowerVR 6200 GPU clocked at 600MHz. These are aided by 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The Standard version has a 720p resolution and a Mediatek MT6592M chipset with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. Both versions support 4G LTE networks, but the Pro one also supports 3G WCDMA networks. Features that the Zopo ZP999 Pro and Standard have in common are the 2700 mAh battery, the dimensions and weight - 151.6 x 76.3 x 9.2 mm and 145 grams, respectively; and the OS - Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

The Zopo ZP999 will be launched simultaneously in 32 countries in the world, including Spain, the Netherlands, Italy, Malaysia, China and Vietnam.. The price of the Pro version is set at CNY 1999, which equals roughly USD 325. Logically, the Standard version will be cheaper.Source
