Motorola Nexus 6 goes through CPU-Z, confirms chipset

The 5.9" Nexus 6 managed a multi-core Geekbench score of 3199, which is more than the score of both the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. The high result is thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset with a 2.65GHz quad-core Krait 450 CPU inside and 3GB of RAM.
Furthermore, the Nexus 6 comes with QHD resolution resulting in a pixel density of 496ppi. The high-end specs sheet also features a 13MP camera with OIS and a dual-flash ring configuration akin to theMotorola Moto X (2014). The battery is rumored to have a capacity of about 3,200mAh, but won't be removable.
This isn't the first time we see the Nexus 6 go through a benchmark. The phone also went through the GFXBench, which tested its Adreno 420 GPU. Needless to say, the phone did quite well. Android L is going to debut on the phone, as goes the tradition with new Android releases.
A couple of weeks ago, a photo of the Nexus 6 leaked. In the photo, the phone relaxes next to the LG G3, which gives us a good idea of how big it's going to be.

Three gets UK exclusivity for HTC Desire Eye

Three has announced it will be the only UK carrier to offer the newly announced HTC Desire Eye once it becomes available. The smartphone with front and rear 13MP cameras with dual-LED flash units went official last night in New York, and Three was quick to brag that it got the exclusivity deal.
Three also announced it will be offering the Re Camera, but pricing and availability is yet to be confirmed.
There is no information if Three's exclusivity is time limited or not. Naturally, you will be able to get a subsidized HTC Desire Eye with a 2-year contract, but again - the pricing and exact availability is to be specified later.
It's unclear what happens if you aren't a Three user - the press release mentions that three will be the only operator to offer tha smartphone so an unlocked and SIM-free HTC Desire Eye might be available through other retailers. We'll keep you in the loop.

the T1 does not have a metal body but instead the same matte black plastic back

Contrary to some of the rumors, the T1 does not have a metal body but instead the same matte black plastic back with a circular raised camera lens in the top left corner, which looks very similar to the design of the Nexus 7 and the Nexus 5. Even the big Nexus logo is similarly placed sideways in the middle.
We already knew the tablet would have a 4:3 aspect ratio display, and this image once again shows the squarish shape of the device.
The launch of this device is supposed to be this month itself so hopefully we will find out more soon.

Latest batch of photos show the recently leaked HTC Desire Eye in all of its glory

Latest batch of photos show the recently leaked HTC Desire Eye in all of its glory. The phone is tipped to pack a 13MP front-facing camera coupled with a dual-LED flash. The rear camera is also supposed to be a 13MP shooter complete with a yet another dual-LED flash.

Twitter user upleaks has revealed another piece of interesting information: initially it appears that the HTC Desire Eye doesn't feature front-facing speakers, but according to the tipster they're still on board. The speakers are located right above and below the display.
The smartphone is tipped to pack a 5.2" 1080p display and run on the powerful Snapdragon 801 chipset with a quad-core Krait 400 processor at 2.3GHz and 2GB of RAM. The rest of the tipped specs include 32GB internal storage, a 2,400 mAh battery and IPX7 certification for water resistance.
We suspect the Desire Eye is going to be revealed at the company's October 8 event in New York. Alongside it should be the HTC RECamera.

Dual-SIM Meizu MX4 leaks with YunOS in tow

Dubbed YunOS 3.0, the Android ROM aims to replace Google's services with its own in order to provide more relevant localized content. The screenshots, which you can look at below, show dual-network indicators on the top left.

The mini version of the Meizu MX4 is rumored to sport a 5" display and pack a MediaTek MT6732 chip with a quad-core 64-bit CPU. However, this is still a wild rumor and nothing substantial has leaked so far to confirm it.
Meizu launched the MX4 in the beginning of September with a 5.36" IPS display of 1152x1920 resolution. It's powered by the latest generation MediaTek MT6595 chipset. It offers an octa-core CPU with four Cortex-A17 cores @ 2.2GHz and four Cortex-A7 cores @ 1.7GHz cores. Furthermore, the company has been leaked to prepare an MX4 Pro. It's going to come with a similarly sized display, but with a bumped resolution of 2,560x1,536.
The Meizu MX4 Pro will reportedly be powered by a Samsung Exynos 5430 chipset, which will feature an octa-core CPU. This will have four Cortex-A17 cores clocked at up to 2.6 GHz, and four Cortex-A15 cores clocked at up to 2.1 GHz. Aiding the top notch SoC will apparently be no less than 4GB of RAM.

The Lenovo VIBE Z2 Pro is a photographer’s dream come true

If you wish to satisfy the professional photographer in you, get the Lenovo VIBE Z2 Pro. It’s a smartphone which allows you to perform professional tips and tricks to your images and videos – going a step further from run-of-the-mill point-and-shoot camera phones
When Lenovo asked its bunch of product development experts in Japan, China and the US, to create a flagship smartphone of its VIBE series, they were given  a free hand without having to bother about a production budget. The product team  delivered a monster of a phone, and it seems many in the team are professional photographers, or are at least interested in something more than selfies with multiple background options.
The Lenovo VIBE Z2 Pro is a photographer’s dream come true. Powered by  quad-core Snapdragon processor, with a 16 MegaPixel  autofocus rear camera, a 5MP front camera and a 6-inch  4K HD display, the device has a selectable  pro photography mode, which allows you to change shutter speed, deploy white balance, choose from multiple exposure modes, and fine tune focus – each using a separate slider.
If videos excite you, the VIBE Z2 Pro comes with a very interesting feature – a Live mode where both the rear and front cameras are activated at the same time. While the rear camera shoots the video, the front camera can be used to record your own live commentary about the video. A sort of picture-in-picture functionality, the Live mode takes video tagging to a new level. Imagine how much more powerful your home video of your toddler’s first steps, that special sunrise over the mountains or that freak traffic accident, has suddenly become.
Once you have recorded that near-professional video or a bunch of photographs, the smartphone allows you to store them securely, in a password protected virtual enclosure within your phone. This ‘secure zone’ has a totally different look and feel to it, with only your preferred files and folders.
Powered by a Snapdragon 801 2.5 GHz Quad Core processor, the VIBE Z2 Pro is a dual micro SIM smartphone, which comes with Android KitKat 4.4, in a  full metallic frame and  is future ready with LTE 4G capability, working on a 4000mAh Li-polymer battery.
